About Me
Currently I am enjoying working for Cloud Software Group (formerly Citrix) where I am the Senior Instructional Designer, supporting the Worldwide Sales Enablement Team.
I live in Raleigh, NC with my husband and daughter (plus our furry buddies Crocket and Bella). I enjoy camping and hiking in the mountains. I love a good DIY project around the house, sitting around a fire pit with friends, and gardening.
Prior to Citrix, I worked at Dude Solutions, where I was the Learning Solutions team manager. I developed online training, instructor led training and managed the company LMS. I consulted with company leaders and other trainers and help develop the overall training landscape. I applied, secured, and managed a $409K training grant offered through the Wake Technical Community College.
Before this, I worked at Schneider Electric for 8 years. There I developed online training, converted instructor-led training into online training and consulted with trainers across the company regarding their training responsibilities.
Before Schneider Electric, I worked for the Autism Society of North Carolina for 10 years. I helped start a day program for adults with autism. I designed the curriculum, developed the participant’s learning tools and designed and delivered staff and participant training. This was incredibly rewarding work and where I have made lifelong friends.
I have Masters in Education, specifically in Curriculum and Instruction from NC State University. While studying Education, I pursued another passion of mine, Cognitive Ergonomics, offered through the Psychology Department. I studied by taking many classes as well as working in the Ergonomics lab and conducting research. I was a published member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. I have a BA in Psychology and a minor in Communications from the University of Dayton. While there, I enjoyed being a part of the Psychology club and played competitive woman's rugby for 4 years.
